Alternative One moves the baseball field to the south side of Anthracite Rd to allow grouping  of neighborhood park amenities. Parking is added in the original park area to support a splash pad, pickeball, basketball and volleyball courts, picnicing, walking trails and a bike pump track across Walker Street from the basketball court. Restrooms and pavilions are included to support the splash pad and other park amenities. Walkways connect to the existing sidewalk that extends from Walker St. to Antracite Road and the new southern portion of this park. The southern portion includes walkways, a baseball field with parking, a dog park with parking, areas for naturalization and community gardens. The final design will include bike racks, benches, and restoration of eroded areas of the Snitz Creek headwaters within the wooded area north of the dog park.

Alternative Two retains the baseball feild, and relocates the basketball court to make room for parking. Four pickleball courts. a restroom and picnicing are added in the vicinity of the existing playground. A skate park can be fitted into the borough property on Palmer St. A 1/4 mile walking trail is around the perimeter of the existing park and connects to the existing concrete sidewalk between Walker St and Anthracite Road.  Additional parking is provided in the borough property on the west side of Walker Street to support the baseball field use.

The southern portion is large enough to accomodate a nine hole disc golf course and additional parking.  Naturalization of open areas is proposed for portions of the disc golf course and can include butterfly and native plant gardens. The final design will include bike racks, benches, and restoration of eroded areas of the Snitz Creek headwaters within the wooded area north of the disc golf course.
